Homework this year will be given out on a Friday and expected back in on Wednesday. I will always explain the homework before it is given out, but if your child would require a bit more support, then they are welcome to attend homework club on Tuesday or Wednesday morning from 8:00 am.
PE kit should include a black pair of shorts, plain white T-shirt and a pair of trainers. Please can you send your child in with their PE kit on a Monday, this should then be left in school all week and taken home again on the Friday.

We have been learning all about forces in our science lessons. We have conducted a variety of experiments and research about air resistance, gravity, water resistance, friction and levers, pulleys and gears. Have a look at the class book we made below.
We also researched Isaac Newton and created a fact file about him.
Our theme for this term has been animals. We each had an adopted animal which all our work was based on. We used the I-pads and books initially to research our animals and write an information text about them. We also wrote a variety of poems including haiku, cinquain, diamante, acrostic, alphabet and a shape poem. After a fantastic visit to the zoo, we wrote a balanced argument about whether zoos should exist or not. Not only did we do lots of writing about animals, all of the work we have produced this term has revolved around our theme including our fantastic art work!
